Philip John Dayer LLB FCA
Qualified as a chartered accountant with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co and then pursued a corporate finance career in investment banking, specialising in advising small and mid-market UK companies. Philip was first appointed an Advisory Director at Barclays Merchant Bank Limited in 1983 and since then has held a position of Corporate Finance Director with a number of banks. He retired from Hoare Govett Limited in 2004. Philip was a financial consultant to OJSC Rosneft Oil Company, the Russian state owned oil and gas company, on its flotation in 2006. Philip is a Non-Executive Director of The Parkmead Group PLC, AVEVA Group PLC, Navigators Underwriting Agency Limited and Hurricane Exploration PLC.
William Alexander Catchpole
Was appointed Managing Director of the COUNTYWeb.COM PLC in 1999, having been a Director of KDM International PLC for 16 years. He then oversaw the demerger of COUNTYWeb.COM and coordinated a fundraising exercise and the subsequent introduction to the London Stock Exchange AIM market. The company was renamed as IPPLUS PLC and William has led the re-engineering of this business into its current successful model covering the Call Centre, Software, Archive and Telephony markets.
Robert Stuart McWhinnie Gordon BA FCMA CGMA
Stuart’s early career was in Management Accounts with the British Steel Corporation and Philips TMC in Glasgow. After relocating with the Philips Group he progressed to Chief Financial Accountant with AT&T and Philips Telecommunications and then to Financial Controller of a subsidiary of Electrolux. In late 1997, Stuart took charge of the Management Accounting function of Grampian Country Pork (Suffolk) and in 1999 was appointed the Financial Director of Gibbs Palmer (Holdings) Limited. Stuart was appointed to the IPPLUS PLC Board in March 2000. Stuart is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
Geoff Forsyth BEng, CEng, MBCS, CITP, FRSA.
Geoff is the founding Chief Technical Officer of IPPLUS PLC, prior to that his background was in control and instrumentation systems for UK nuclear power plants and in 1996 became the architect and Technical Director of COUNTYWeb.com PLC. Since 2001 Geoff has pushed the companies’ divergence into telephony, contact centre software and management systems. As group CTO, Geoff is ultimately responsible for IT security policy and has advised on specification, project management, configuration and maintenance of both traditional ISDN and state of the art VoIP technologies.
Geoff’s technical knowledge means he is well placed to provide an insightful look into the current and future trends of the modern contact centre and is a regular guest speaker at various UK symposiums.
Bernard Joseph Waldron
Bernie has 27 years of experience in the global technology and business services marketplace including positions as Director of Business Strategy for IBM in New York, General Manager of IBM's Industrial Sector business for Europe, Middle East and Africa, and Executive Chairman of the former Maersk Data Group of companies based in Copenhagen. He is a Non-Executive Director of Process Systems Enterprise Ltd and of Venture Partnership Foundation Ltd, and was formerly a Non-Executive Director of Kneip Communications S.A in Luxembourg. Bernie is also an Associate of Criticaleye and a Visiting Professor at Cass Business School.
James Barham
James holds a degree in Business Management and Communications and is the Commercial Director for IP3 Telecom Ltd. James has overseen the growth and evolution of IP3 Telecom over the last 3 years into one of the UK's most innovative telephony providers. Prior to that, James worked within the reseller arm of a leading insurance contact centre operation, Call Connection. James is currently an Executive Director of PCI-PAL Ltd, the group's PCI secure data processing division.
