 StaffLine Features

StaffTimer

The timer allows workers to log on, record a message, and set timed activities. The timer will monitor the worker for the time selected and, in the event that they do not log off, attempt to contact them at the end of the timed activity.

If the worker does not respond after several attempts the alarm is raised.
StaffProtect

StaffProtect is used by workers when they are attending a site that requires regular monitoring. The worker will invoke the StaffProtect service setting a recurring callback

The worker must then enter their PIN number every time a call is received from StaffProtect. If for any reason the worker does not log on, the alarm will be raised. StaffProtect will run until the worker logs off.
StaffAlarm

Alarms can be raised at many points within the service. The nature of the alarm is defined by the customer and typically includes an escalation procedure incorporating call broadcast, SMS, email, and any 3rd party systems integration required.

An additional feature of call escalation is the ability for the recipients of the alarm calls to be patched into the call from the worker. The feature gives improved visibility of the emergency situation.
